More nature...

We saw a Blue Heron. I think that's what we call it? I'll just stick with it for now.

While on a walk to a Christian coffee shop near our house we spotted eight ducklings with their mom and dad. It was so adorable. 

Later, Clay and my dad went swimming. I wanted to capture the splash, but this was better:

The Bougainvilleas are in season and they make the yard look great.

Plumbagos are in season as well.

Sombrita is playing with a bouncy ball while running.

Truthfully, I can't wait for fall. The pictures will be amazing! What season do you look forward to?

Happy Wednesday! Wait, it's Thursday. I know, silly. I took the pictures yesterday so that's what I'm gonna call it. Anyway, the Crape Myrtles are blossoming and I wanted to snap some photos.

I like this photo because of the playhouse in the background. It sets itself apart from the other pictures.

The photo below me is also unique because it was posterized. Hard to explain, but that is why I like it.

It's almost there! In about a week or two this stem will be a full grown flower.

Pancake Run!

After the 5k (3.2 miles) the Park Rangers were so nice as to making our pancakes.

There are bacon and pecan pancakes.

After the run and pancakes, trophies are awarded to the person who finished first in their division first.

Waiting for Ben to finish the 5k I  took some pictures of trees.

After the 5k the fun run or 1 mile run begins. Me, not being in shape decided to sit this one out.

This time both of my brothers are running.

Ben an Clay's names were announced for third place in their division.
