Reading Black Beauty. The original Black Beauty is hard to understand. Older readers are suggested to read it. The book mentions check-reins and tail-docking. This is another reason it is suggested for older readers. I really love the book. Black Beauty (or Jack as Jerry calls him) is a cab horse. That's the part where I'm at.
